Untitled sketch (embroidery study)

16.5 in. long x 8.5 in. wide

Handwoven cloth, natural and synthetic fiber.

About the Work

This was a study I had started many years ago, experimenting with sewing pieces of my weaving onto rug canvas, then adding latch hook and hand embroidery. When exploring new techniques and materials, the sketches are still textiles, though they don't always become part of the larger works.
